We are pleased to announce that Costa Blanca Clubs has joined up with Costa Blanca Forums to create a Forum area for its registered clubs. This will mean that all clubs who want a forum facility will be able to have one, while also taking advantage of the facilities already available on this well established site.
What is a forum?
The Wikipedia definition of a Forum is: An Internet forum is a web application for holding discussions and posting user generated content. Internet forums are also commonly referred to as Web forums, message boards, discussion boards, (electronic) discussion groups, discussion forums, bulletin boards, fora (the Latin plural) or simply forums. The terms "forum" and "board" may refer to the entire community or to a specific sub-forum dealing with a distinct topic. Messages within these sub-forums are then displayed either in chronological order or as threaded discussions.
How does my club get a Forum?
Send an e mail to us at cbc@themediavenue.com stating which club you would like a forum for. We will send you a reply when the forum has been set up.
How is my club categorised on the Forum?
All clubs are put into categories in Costa Blanca Clubs. For example a football club, a netball club and a rugby club would be put in the Sports Category. These categories will be used as the main sections in the Clubs Forum.
Do I have to register as a member of Costa Blanca Forums?
You do not have to be registered on the site to read the entries on Costa Blanca Forums, however if you wish to post comments you will have to be a register user. This user registration is not linked to Costa Blanca Clubs.
Who can read my clubs Forum?
Anyone who looks at the Costa Blanca Forums page can read your club’s forum, giving you yet another avenue to gain extra members or to publicise your activities to a wider audience. This should be kept in mind when posting comments.
Is the Forum Moderated?
We will be moderating this section of the Costa Blanca Forums page and any comments which are regarded as unsuitable will be removed.
Can we link directly to our Club’s Forum?
We hope to have a button on your club’s profile page that will link directly to your forum. This should be available in a few weeks time.
